The 1981, Hodder & Stoughton Ltd. published, hardback edition of The Fables Of Aesop including illustrations by Edward J. Detmold with gilt detailing to the cover. This edition is a reprint of the 1909 first edition complete with full colour illustrations as shown in the photos, which are truly stunning in person. There is a slight bump to the corners and foxing to the pages as shown, still a truly stunning addition to any home library!
