Welcome to the wonderful world of Walt Disney! The 1960’s were an odd era for Disney, as a definite argument could be made that the passion for animation film that had driven Walt thus far was definitely evolving into other arenas. He started planning Disney parks and suggesting live action and nature documentaries rather than purely animated fairy tales. Thus the genesis for this series was born!
If you are interested in nature documentaries on any level, the Disney True-Life Adventure collection of nature documentaries is interesting from a historic standpoint. This particular book features photography from a number of these films from many different climates along with illustrations from the Disney studio.
This particular edition of this book is overall in good condition with no major marks to the front or back covers, with the interior being clean, no owners notes or foxing that I can see. It has however had some adventures at least! There is some rubbing present at the top and bottom edges and spine with a bump to the bottom right hand corner.
