This 19th century black leather clad glove storage box is lined with a bright green satin and a perfect place to store your treasures! The gold lettering in cursive to the top lends to its high class designated use, they were certainly beautiful gloves that would have been kept in here historically. Nowadays however it is perfect for keeping your jewellery, candles, that super nice set of cutlery you keep for special occasions or even things like your vintage tie or scrunchie collection! Which obviously is an essential in every household!
Overall the box measures at approximately 30cm by 10cm by 7cm. Due to its age it has been through some knocks, the corners are worn from use and there is a large dink to the top and back of the exterior as shown. The interior also shows markings as shown in the photos, it is however one of those lovely pieces which really shows and feels the history of the owners it has had through the many years of use!
