A perfect addition to your home for any wine aficionado (trained or otherwise!) this root wood corkscrew adds beautiful texture to a room whilst remaining excellently functional. Likely to have been made from grape vines, its ties to the wine it helps bring out have a lovely harmony. It is polished with a high gloss varnish, bringing out the colours of the wood and shows a sign from its previous owner ‘Sedlescombe Vineyard’ the largest and oldest organic vineyard in the UK.
It has been a workhorse for the vineyard therefore there are signs of wear, mostly to the metal screw section as shown in the photos. It measures at approximately 19cm in width and the screw section at 8 cm in length.
