This beautiful vintage art glass decanter is wonderfully unique and features a hand-blown teal and green body with delicate etched grape and leaf detailing around the lower bowl and neck. The decanter has a rounded base, slender neck, and comes with its original clear faceted glass stopper that catches the light nicely.
The glass shows lovely colour variation with an iridescent quality. The pontil mark is visible on the base, which is consistent with artisan glassmaking. A loverly decorative piece that also functions well as a wine or spirits decanter.
Overall, this decanter is in grand condition for its age with no chips or cracks to the main bottle, only a small pinch mark during construction towards the top of the neck. The stopper is in good condition, however does show chips towards its base, this doesn’t affect it fitting snugly in place however. It measures at approximately 23cm in height, including stopper.
