This set of two pressed glass trinket dishes were produced by Bagley & Co between 1939 and 1975 as part of their Duchess line. They each have an art deco inspired finial to their lid with four small feet to the base. Each dish has a good weight, making them unlikely to tip over and useful for a variety of reasons, jewellery, cotton pads even for use a salt dish!
They have an intricate pattern, with a textured edged lid, measuring at approximately 11cm in height including the lid and 9.5cm in diameter. Overall they are in good condition for their age with no chips or cracks visible, one the interior edge of one dish however there is a black mark as shown.
