The epitome of art deco barware, this set of five liqueur glasses were made by La Cristallerie Royale de Basal Bayel. This glass factory has a fascinating history, first created in 1678 by a Venetian grand master (there was a exodus of Venetian glass makers at this time, if you are a collector of glass it is worth looking up!) it was given the title of ‘Royal Crystal Factory’ by King Louis XIV. Many years later, they became increasingly well known for the frosted nude figures and animal figure stemmed glassware.
This set features the Venus figurine and truly they are a set of beauties. Each glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, measuring at approximately 15cm in total height and 5cm in diameter.
