A large vintage print of the oil painting “Fishing From A Boat Near The Willows” created by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot and produced by the Parisian print works Braun S A Mulhouse. This atmospheric piece of art beautifully encapsulates the calm, slow pace of the French countryside at the time of the artists life.
Bare, expressive trees frame a tranquil waterside scene, while a small boat and distant figures lend the composition a gentle sense of narrative. The softly muted palette of olive, sage, warm earth tones and smoky blue creates an evocative landscape with an almost literary quality.
It is presented in an ornate gold frame measuring at approximately 59 by 49.5cm. Overall the picture is in good condition, however there are a couple of dinks to the frame as shown in the photos with minor light surface scratches to the glass visible in very certain lights.
Overall a timeless piece by a French master, perfect for any well curated home.
