A truly rare find this pair of side plates are a very early creation of Wedgwood, circa 1900s, hand painted with a cobalt blue and gold pattern on a pure white base. They have detailing around the rim of each plate with the Wedgwood logo and Y1863 marked underneath.
The colours are exceptionally bright for their age and are in good condition with each plate measures at approximately 7cm in diameter.
