Who ever said that functional items need to be dull and boring? When they can be so beautifully decorated like this sugar shaker from Casa Pupo. If you have not heard of Casa Pupo before, they started in 1960 bringing Spanish and Portuguese colours and style to mid century Britain. Maximalist at all times, their pieces are now highly collectible and always help bring style and substance to your home.
Easily used as a sugar shaker or as a flour dredger depending on your purpose, it is made from ceramic and in an amber coloured glaze. It has the original plastic stopper in the base and the Casa Pupo mark as shown in the photos. Overall in good condition, there are no cracks and only one small chip to the base as shown, measuring at approximately 16cm in total height.
