Perfect for your resident knight in shining armour, this stein from King ceramics is the traditional deep blue and beige colourway. The design in the centre is of Heidelberg, with “Gruss aus Heidelberg” (Greetings from Heidelberg) written underneath with a depiction of Perkeo to one side. A court jester of Elector Palatine Charles III Philip in Heidelberg, he is fantastically well known in the area for his humour, fondness for wine and the expression “perché no?” which translates to “why not?”. Don’t we all need a little Perkeo spirit in our lives?
The stein itself is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks or chips visible. It measures at approximately 17cm in total height and 7.5cm in diameter.
